  1. For exchanging fluid you need nothing. Gravity drives out the old fluid. If you exchange for instance brake hoses and your system is completely empty, you need this: https://a.aliexpress.com/_vEpgKT With this tool you suck the smallest air bubbles out of the system. You need to suck out the fluid out and not press in. If you suck, the small hidden air bubbles grow in diameter and sneak out of the hidden corner of the system.
  2. With Akra and Sprint air filter. The problem between 5000 and 6000 rpm I addressed in the meantime with a strong airbox mod. I guess I have now arround 120whp. On top I added a shorter end transmission, bike runs now only 126, which is btw far to much for this bike, but it is now more responsive and pushing nicely ahead and tires wear now ouf like an eraser of a first grader. Be noted a famous Austrian tuner mentioned recently, may roller beches deliver wrong information, so do not believe in every fantasy performance graph.
  3. I have for short distances a Tricity 300. In fact this bike, in Germany it is license wise considered as a car, brought me to the Niken. The fun machine per se, but for unexperienced drivers difficult to handle. Heavy and high center of grayity. It runs 80 ml/h, 0.8gl are good for 62 miles. I fitted Heidenau Winter tires arround the year.
  4. Helps the cold engine in the roll on process. Once your engine is hot, the effect is reduced. Has nothing to do with not synchronized flaps. Could be theoretically be changed in the fuel map, unfortunately no software available [tune ecu does not work with yamaha can].
  5. I use traditionally electronically controlled oilers, on the Niken I've installed a Scott X-System. In fact, an oiler is the same as with vitamin pills. Everybody takes them despite not necessary. Better buy a "maintenance free chain". I found btw oil on my rear tire, this is the least place where I want to have oil. Check out FortNine [s. link]. He made btw also a good video on Niken. https://youtu.be/VnPYdcbcAe0
  6. I bought 12V heating stuff in AliExpress [car seat heating parts], fixed it in my jacket and bought for 80$ heated gloves. 110W allows me to drive at 10°F. Electrical heat is not a nice heat.
  7. Hi, I'm owner of a Niken which I purchased for the winter. Having several bikes and sitting since 1976 in a bike saddle only [no car], I gained some experiences on bikes and their repair. However, with Niken mechatronics I reach the boundaries of knowledge and experience. I probably need quite a lot of help, which I expect to find in this board. Cheers Urs
