  1. So here are some pics of the FJ arriving, a bit showing off the farkles included
  2. Awesome responses, glad to know I'm not the only one enjoying so much this "old" bike. This bike looks so much better in person than in pictures! So I did some test riding for about 50km so far. I love how nimble it feels, the engine sound is so raw even with the stock pipe. It vibrates and shakes more than I thought though, and the idle rattle is a bit worrying even though some threads here point out that it's normal. I did a 6th gear pull vs my dad's Tiger 1050 and he flew past me at low revs, but then the FJ catched up nicely. I saw some threads here about people doing more than 200,000 miles on these bikes!!! amazing
  3. I don't understand how can people sell these bikes with such low usage. I just test rode the bike and it feels brand new. The throttle response is super smooth so I'm assuming that the previous owner the an ECU flash and everything.
  4. So I recieved yesterday a new to me 2015 FJ-09 in red, seems to be in mint condition with 12,000 km. I haven't yet been able to ride it but can't wait to get it unloaded, registered to my name and drive the hell out of it. I've been riding for about 8 years. My first serious motorcycle was a street triple which I loved the engine. But it wasn't the perfect daily for me. Then I owned an Africa twin for a couple years because I thought I would be doing a lot of dirt riding. I didn't. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable motorcycle. After missing the triple engine I was waiting for the new Tiger Sport 660, but came across this FJ09 at a great deal so it was a no brainer: triple engine, somewhat wind protection, luggage, more power than the 660 and best of all, japanese reliability. I've already read a bunch of threads over here about what to expect from it, so can't wait.
