  1. You can see the orange block under the bike, wedged into my skid plate. No brake strap, but the leaver has the locker on it. bike was in gear.
  2. Taken last year on the ferry over to Vancouver Island.
  3. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but If I recall, the pump draws around 6-amps. (I have the Stop&Go version). The 12volt outlet on the 2015 model is on a 2amp fuse. I recall having to replace the fuse for some reason & I think it was this. I removed the 12v plug from my pump kit to prevent forgetting this. I only have the alligator clips.
  4. Nothing fancy, but added black reflective tape to the backs of both the panniers. you don't see it until the light hits it. I've been told it's super bright & reflective. Then I added some white reflective pinstriping to the front wheel and sides panels.
  5. Nice, it's such a handy thing to have on the bike! I found a Yamaha rack from a dealer in Alberta. I then got myself a Givi b37 with the universal plate, so quick on/off the bike. It looks a little odd imo, but It's usefulness far outweighs that. It was really nice to have on my Van Island trip last summer.
  6. Sunny and -18c here in Northeast BC today. All the roads are iced up. Haven't ridden since Oct. ☹️ Weather outlook is saying it will be below -30c for the Christmas week.
  7. I very highly recommend every rider take the online ChampU course. Seriously... You won't regret it! https://ridelikeachampion.com/courses-page/
  8. My SW-Motech City tank bag arrived today & I got it all setup! Only difference was I had to keep the (drill template/spacer) on the bag under the mounting plate so it would reach & clip to the mounting ring on the fuel cap. My Engage next to it for a size comparison.
  9. I positioned mine as far forward as possible if I recall. Couple pics for reference.
  10. Installed the Yamaha rear carrier this weekend. I did notice the panniers wouldn't sit near as snug on the bike afterwards. (panniers had just a little bit of play to rattle when mounted) So used some thin foam trim on the back of the hangers and over the locking pins that push up into the rail via the handle. (Snug as a bug again!)
  11. Last weekend. Took a little gravel side road up to a nice viewpoint looking down the river valley!
  12. I have the Higdonion skid, lower & upper guards on mine. https://www.facebook.com/higdonion/ Not sure if he's still producing those... But I really like the coverage!
  13. I also picked up a new RPHA 70 recently. Also got two extra visors, dark smoke & mirror blue!
