I've seen reviewers raving about QS3. Curious if it could be ported to the current T9 with a flash and hardware.

Where to get Comfort seat for a 2021 Tracer 9 GT
kiseliok replied to bikelee's topic in Tracer 900 GT Discussions
Bumping this thread up again - can anyone outside of US take a picture of the stock heated seat connector, please? I'd love to just plug in an original seat, if possible, and not mess with the wiring. -

Resurrecting an older thread as I could not find anything newer. Has anyone in US bought a comfort heated seat and was able to get it to work properly with US electronics / wiring? These things cost quite a bit, especially with international shipping, but would be nice to just have a stock toggle for the heating element without any external / additional switches. -
Here is what I think is happening (I looked through the owners' and shop manual, and cannot confirm this). After setting the cc, there is some sort of 'timeout' - whether mechanical (first change) or time-based. If you try to '-' after setting the speed, no action is taken. It works on the second click though. If you set your speed to an odd number - ex. 61mph - the first change will be to either 60 or 62, depending which way you go. After that, '+' and '-' go at 2mph (per manual and observed). I love having cc on the bike and I used it quite often, so this is based purely on my observations.

Does this cable plug directly into the ecu or is there an easier accessible port / connector somewhere? (thanks for the link!)

Tracer 9 GT Top Box Installation
kiseliok replied to vic's topic in FJ-09 Tracer 900 General Discussions
About 2h at a leisurely pace (not spare part left), and another hour for the re-key. Instructions are crap and some of the panel removals aren't intuitive. Silver body pieces slide forward when removed - not simple clip-ons. Paneer hanger bolts were a b*tch and had to be aligned properly when re-installed - I used a #5 allen key to keep it in place. -

I'll be installing mine this weekend - definitely dreading taking all the extra pieces off. One thing I learned from installing a few other bits is to have a good organizational system - either a small case or magnetic pan for screws, some sort of bowl for plastics, and a tagging mechanism. Seems silly, but saves a ton of time putting everything back together! -
Cleaning the chain every 500-700 miles gives me an opportunity to look over the bike, make sure nothing is loose, there are no cracks, leaks, etc. I guess it's part of the bonding process and general care, which gives me more confidence while I'm pushing it on the dragon knowing full well that the cliff could be the end of me. 🏍️

Drilling sucks, but it doesn't have to be ugly. No one can tell that it's not stock. As far as clips, the side one will need to come out completely, if you don't want to get too creative with "wiggling" the fender out from between the forks. You should be able to squeeze the back of it enough with your fingers to push it through. Also, a set of trigger and spring clamps helped the whole process tremendously. I had to buy a new set, but it was worth it.

Also, what kind of pricing are we looking at, depending on the options? Have you done any tracers yet - new or old? Any pictures of the completed seats and customer feedback that you can post?

Got "something went wrong" while trying paypal or venmo options. Will try again later, but definitely excited to try this!
