Sorry for messing up the quotes. I don't know what I'm doing, obviously. Is there a primer for how to do that stuff? I rode today with the pin lock visor that shipped with my Shoei. Works great. My sunglasses fit fine too, so I won't be getting The transitions anytime soon. It sounds like a great idea though. I will be curious to see if anyone out there uses them and what the results are.

Dark visors aren't legal at night here either. My question had to do with the transitions lenses, the whole point of which is to darken when it's light out, and clear up when it's dark out. It says on the purchasing site that they're not street legal! How could that not be street legal? I also noticed that the clear pin lock lens that shipped with my Shoei RF1200 had a disclaimer that it was not legal for night riding either! I don't get how they would sell something that is legally useless. My guess is it's a way of dodging liability. But it puts the rider in an awkward place when deciding whether to use it. I'm incredulous that they would do something like that.

I also have the Shoei RF-1200. Just got it in white. Anyone know when the transitions lens for this one will be out, or where I can get one if it IS out?
