Recommended Posts

I just got back from the Dragon's Tail (July 31st)…. Man great road for leaning. I was actually surprised by my chicken strips

All MN and WI roads, also 190 not 180.

Curious as to why you would choose a 190 tire?

There is nothing like spending a day riding with friends in the grip of a shared obsession.

Long story, but tire guy swapped it out to 190 with a 180 in hand no charge. No idea really, felt no real difference going from 180 to 190. My new rear that I just bought is a 180. Price was my only factor for going back.

Two up on NC SR 215 in Smokies on my 2K VFR

That may be the best road in the Smokies. Though there are still a lot more.

Here's how my new 180 looks by comparison. Once I get my bike sprung to my weight, I'll probably see the edge but right now I'm scraping peg pretty bad.

Same here I have been starting to scape my pegs too... usually I wear boots that stick out a little further then the pegs so I have to tuck me my feet in more. I never really thought I would be scraping the pegs on my tracer.

Yeah the toe of my boot is pretty abused as well.

Is your preload all the way cranked up? I'm well onto the edge of the tire before I even touch down peg feelers - not the pegs themselves - at the track even on the OE shock with stock ride height.
