Dealing with stock exhaust system heat.

I found their shop on Ebay, yes you retain the centerstand and it's also a full system. The exhaust can looks of good quality, but I'm sure the header is of thinner steel than the OEM. System sounds pretty loud with or without the baffle from vids I have found on youtube, but me thinks that will be just fine. )

Don’t buy the 9”!  Too loud!

I don't see the one you have, only see the 9" option.

There is an option for the14”. You can always call them directly as well

My full system Delkevic 14 inch carbon stubby arrived yesterday, got it all installed today since I am off work Fridays. Must say that the fit and finish is excellent overall, very good tig welds on the pipes, oval silencer looks as good as the much more expensive systems I've owned in the past. Left the baffle in, must say that CP3 music now is proper and sounds about perfect to me. This is the steal of the century for the quality, they are a bit like Kia and Hyundai in terms of the bang for the buck and overall performance.......Kia and Hyundai run with the big dogs now, and who are the ones laughing at the naysayers. 😎

The longest & lightest non-carbon can (CF has poor impact resistance) I find and like is 13.5"?  It's also the only one I looked at that had a dyno chart.

This ones 14" and looks decent too, and probably the most durable.

I could live with this also, it all depends on their apparent felt loudness.  I always wear ear plugs but still want a relatively quiet effect.

Is it a pipe dream (pun) thinking any of these will not become bothersome on a long, tiring haul???

Then there is Black Widow...

I started with a 9” full system because it looked badass. It was Badass loud! Way too freaking loud! Even with ear plugs it was annoyingly loud. The 14” can is still badass looking, has a really nice authoritative sound and has reduced both weight and more importantly the heat that was killing me.  If anyone wants a cheap 9” can  I’ve got one!

Define "authoritative" LOL

Every takeaway dB readings?

I know tonal quality and frequency (mghz) also play a keypart in apparent loudness and appeal, or lack thereof...

It doesn’t sound like a Honda! 🤣

no db reads yet.

I have tinnitus badly and it doesn't affect me at all, I mean the ringing never stops anyways. ☹️ Got in a 250 mile ride yesterday and I love that exhaust system, I am also noticing less buzz/vibes as well and know that isn't a placebo affect.

 Thanks for the input

But for even 600 bucks + my labor on top of it, I don't know if I want to risk it.

I wish there was somebody local who had the 14" exhaust I could get up close and personal with  So to speak

I did about 250 yesterday as well
