lpawelek
Hi, I just used sheepskin on my non GT Niken seat and the riding comfort rises significantly. It's worth to check. The total cost is just around 25 USD. Edited September 26, 2022 by lpawelek
Supporting Member maximNikenGT Posted September 26, 2022 Supporting Member Share Posted September 26, 2022 Was this to improve long distance riding comfort in terms of pressure or reduce the cold? Some fellow riders swear by the seat beads used by taxi drivers. I've been debating about getting an Airhawk to reduce fatigue from long distance (>100+ miles) rides. https://airhawk.net/product/cruiser-r-large/ Edward 2019 Niken GT "Motorcycles - the brand is not important, the fact that you ride is." I'm guessing the sport or standard seat is on the non-GT. I hated the seat on my 2017 FJ-09, but can go 300 miles on my Niken GT seat with no issues. I'm currently considering the heated seat option but not sure if it would be less comfortable.
lpawelek
I use it in the summer to avoid the chafing caused by moisture and additionally for more pressure comfort. In cold days it is also warm. When is raining it could be removed easily, but it is so small that I never did it so far.

Ride365
Sheepskins are at best OK, I do however like mine in the colder months. I have since replaced my Alaska Leather sheep skin with one of these, the quality and function/comfort is amazing for the price and I find overall better than the sheep skin. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0927BP4VV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Edited September 27, 2022 by Ride365
