You're in the middle of your day now a little beyond?

I do that too cuz I'm a great depression victims kid made into a horder!!  get it while I can!

His witticisms intent is totally different of course

It used to be things took  Decades to change then it took A few years After that a year

And I'm not necessarily talking cell phones

More people's attitudes and worse and worse behavior

I don't know what social influencers are

I'm happy alone with my thoughts and ĺittle projects

I don't need no stinkin Twitter

Or all the other things people use on their phones

I'm very particular who I connect with

some would argue otherwise

It's also the availability of things we took for granted

If you can even get them they are crazy expensive

It's all a perfect storm

you can't blame any one thing or person like most everyone tries to do

The faster things happen the less I care to know unless it'll kill me sooner than I care to die

Of course before my wife...

Hey Bret, I only wanted people to check their shrader valves and this has gone a 'little' off topic and probably belongs in the Fireside Chat room but OK, I can roll with it. 🙂

I'm hearing you on many of the points you raise and tend generally to agree but also wonder if our immediate ancestors thought the same or similar?  Times changing 'rapidly' also for them albeit at a different pace.

I can remember those wild-arsed youngsters of the sixties with their long hair and crazy music as well as independant thinking!  I was only a kid then but can remember my oldies and their peers thoughts and discussions of how times were getting wild and dangerous.

I think, especially as we grow older, that the more things change the more we want them to stay the same.

It's an uncertain world ATM and it's been like that in the past but you can't focus on the bad stuff or you'll go off your head and risk taking an automatic weapon into places where it doesn't belong.

And I too agree with you re:- Twitter and the book of faces.

Don't sweat it - life is definately too sort and we are only here for a very, very short time.

Pace is everything

That's why I choose to go at my own

Schrader valves are the minutia that can mean life or death

And there's a reason they don't use Presta valves on motorcycles...

I never sweat it.

Only the details.

You passed over my joke at the end

Why do the husband's always die first?

I was one of the curly tops in a fatigue jacket in the 60s into the early 70s
