It's pretty cold out so I decided it was a good day to see how the Garmin cradle was going to bolt up. hmmmmmm ... the power cable on the 396 cradle exits straight out the back. Not gonna be able to bolt the cradle flush to the face of the mount. 🤬 Decision now is whether I create some sort of stand-offs for between the mount and cradle or get out my Dremel and start digging. It looks like I need about an inch between the face of the mount and the back of the cradle. It's the old lament ... why can't anything just be easy?
