Next time I check the valves and have to remove the cams to adjust (I remove the cam chain lower sprocket cover and slip out the tensioner slider to give lots of chain slack to allow zip tying the cam sprockets to the chain and hanging them from above out of the way) I'd install this.  Looks solid enough?

Anyone else tried one?

I've also thought about one of these but would chain noise be louder and is it as capable of containing a slipped tooth as stock?  Like a broken chain would hole the cases regardless...

I like that sprocket cover description: helps you find the dirty and clear it in time. 
At least it’s better than something I bought a while ago that stated: incorrect installation will cause death.

Oh... and you can "check the status of the sprocket". Add this to your pre-ride check.
