leedavis Posted December 30, 2014 Share Posted December 30, 2014 I joined the forum to stop the nag popups and keep tabs on the FJ-09 to see how it pans out over the next few months. I'm optimistic and hopefully, it does good and replaces my FJR1300. The FJR is a great bike that serves me well but the FJ-09 looks to be more appropriate for the the types of riding I mostly do - sporty dayrides in the mountains with occasional light touring. I've got a DRZ400S for trails/gravel roads and am not interested in any of the slew of new overweight adventure bikes. A mid size sport tourer sounds like just the ticket.
