tfj09
Could someone who has removed the front / side faring for install of flush mount signals provide photos and / or detailed descriptions of the process. Seems there are some clips as well as fasteners for the faring and I really would rather not snap anything. Thanks!
pavemike
Funny enough, I just did this last night. Pull the whole fairing off, and unscrew the two black screws. After those are out, simply pry off the 4 silver circle clips with teeth on them with a small flat bladed screwdriver, but don't break them because you'll have to reuse them. Once those are off, the two halves of the fairing come right apart. When you put the fairing back together, make sure it pops back together all the way before reinstalling the circle clips. Hope this helps!!
