Supporting Member 1moreroad Posted May 24, 2015 Supporting Member Share Posted May 24, 2015 Made a morning run to Coffeeville, MS for breakfast this morning. But I had orange juice. The combination of a high seat and low windshield solves my noise problem. The suspension was harsh on some of the little backroads (where even some of the asphalt patches have patches), but the bike worked great on any curvy road large enough to have striping down the center. Averaged 47 mpg calculated (49 mpg on the FJ's screen). The speedometer was never more than 2 mph off from my GPS. Coffeeville and the other city in Yalobusha county, Water Valley, used to be important railroad hubs. First the railroads left and then the interstates bypassed them completely. Now they're mostly sleepy little farm towns. Some of the old store signage and some town murals have survived.
