Guest lawrenceofsuburbia
A talented friend of mine is a graphic design artist: ask, and it can be done! These decals she made for me just give a bit of a 'lift' to the pannier lids. I'm going to try to apply some cheap [em]faux [/em]carbon fibre vinyl sheet to the centre portion of the lid, then apply another decal over the top - this should 'lift' it even more. I bought some of the c/f vinyl at a cheap $6 a sheet, but it looks good! Nearing 2000km from new this bike is becoming more and more satisfying each time I go out on it. Only one major enhancement remains to be done, the Seat Concepts replacement. RandyD
I went to local print shop that specializes in graphic wraps. He said due to the odd rough texture of our plastic lids vinyl won't work well at all. Needs to be smoother to stay. Said he'd never get the rounded corners to lay flat.
