I haven't made many changes but the two most satisfying were the two least expensive mods....kubalink mirror extenders and the $50 I spent at a local upholstery shop having them add more padding to the stock seat. ( So many people here on the forum gamble hundreds of dollars on custom seats they've never tried out). I'm fine with the seat now and did a run from Palm Springs to Seattle and back over seven days and 2,500 miles. I'll do the same trip, different roads, this summer as well. Not as badass as Baja but you've sure inspired a bunch of us to want to do it! Ride safe...Bill Hi Bill - the mirror extenders sound handy... How are they lane splitting? Does it move them upwards or out wider? The seat cushion doesn't hurt either. Palm Springs to Seattle in 7 days is a haul for sure- - bet the seat made the ride a bit nicer!
