oldfart
http://i429.photobucket.com/albums/qq15/BillClawson/big%20moto_zpsfupflq9e.jpg I finally completed modifying my FJ-09 for touring! Add-ons include hard cases, top case, crash bars, GPS mount, tank bag, extra lights, lowering links, mirror extenders, Corbin seat, foot rests, arm rests and back rests for the passenger, water tank, fuel can, spare tire, shade structure (that was a bear to figure out!) and finally, the piece de resistance…a 20 year old Moto Guzzi engine which really smoothed out the throttle response! Have I gone too far?

Premium Member keithu Posted June 21, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted June 21, 2015 How strong is that shade structure? I wonder if you could do a stoppie, roll completely over, land on the wheels again and then keep going.
michel
Loaded like that i wonder if lowering links are really needed!
oldfart
Yes, it runs, and quite reliably, apparently. I took this picture on Highway 74 above Palm Desert, California. The bike belongs to a British couple who have traveled over much of the world on their Moto Guzzi. If you want to see more of their travels go to https://www.facebook.com/guzzi.overland . I really admire them for being so adventurous!
