I don't understand how you're supposed to use that pocket for anything when you can't reach the bottom to get anything out of it.That brace does nothing structurally. Grab a razor knife and cut it out cleanly. Did mine about 6 months ago and it really opens up that area to make it more useful. The tire seemed to start leaking after the plug although some soapy water seemed to tell me it wasn't the plug, I forgot to really look when I changed the tire over the weekend. It would drop 4-5 psi over 24 hours so I would just check and fill before work or riding for the day. I didn't want to worry about it on my nearly 2000 trip to see family, friends and vacation.
