I smell a burning plastic smell, kinda like hot glue smell every time I run my bike. It has just over 200 miles on it. Please tell me this is something to do with it be new...! Anyone else ever experience this?
It's the new. It goes away, then you will miss it, kinda like a new car smell.

Usually it's the CAT making those smells. It'll go away.
plus lacquer and protective wax burning off - although the latter applies to cars more as they are shipped across seas and parked on quays for months
This signature is left blank as the poster writes enough pretentious bollocks as it is.

My 2015 with 50,000 miles does that when I've been riding in a good rain. Has since it was brand new. I know because it poured on me on our first trip home.

Thanks -- I will worry less now! I suffer from bike-o-chondria, so I always feel like something's going wrong... smiley.png
I completely understand.
