I had the bagster seat and it absolutely DID NOT work for me. The seat area was incredibly small and was ill suited for all day touring although it worked for around town. The Corbin seat totally transforms the bike so I can comfortably stay on it all day. I bought one for my 2020 Tracer 900 GT and rode it 36,000 miles. Just got a new 2024 Tracer 9 GT and bought another Corbin seat. Expensive but totally worth it if you are into touring. Best mod I made.

2024 9GT Plus. I had Rich at Rich's custom seats create the best seat for me.  Tried Corbin, Sargent,  and the comfort seat. All no good.  Russell day long was an option, but build took longer and was more expensive. I am all arms and legs, 6' 4" with a 36 inch inseam, so I needed the extra leg room for less knee bend.  It took Rich 2 tries, but with further photos and talking to him, he figured it out. No more sliding into the tank, and yes, I sit more on the bike instead of in the bike but am way more comfortable.

Nice! So did you ride from FL to WA to get this done, or was it customized over phone/email? 

Myself and a few others on this forum had our seats done by Rich and can honestly say its one of the best things to get done if you're riding lots of miles or have different sizing preferences.

Got it. I see you've got the grayish over the black on the seat?

I went a bit further and had Rich do an argyle pattern plus some blue to match the Yamaha wheels and logo.

Well I'll be, someone I met at the top of Pikes Peak, although we both live in Canada!!! I am waiting on a Bagster seat that I ordered on Black Friday. Anyway, doesn't really count as I just acquired a 2015 FJ09 in September while the Buell is down needing fuel pump sorting. Cheers, Don from Ontario, or Lakota in the old XR forum.
