You want to test the abs while on the center stand? Huh?

It's pretty well known if the rear wheel moves fast enough on the center stand you'll throw a cel that has to be reset via OBD2.

Is that what your asking?

I'm not aware of any tests that can be conducted on the ABS but agree with @kilo3 - DO NOT run the bike in gear on the center stand unless you want to trigger the CEL.

duh, no running bike in gear on center stand. age makes it too long to heal. can't afford for learning curve to get any flatter.  fjr - put bike in gear(2nd), make sure side stand is down. turn on ign. hold start button down for 4 sec. apply both brakes. abs pump cycles through the brakes twice each. noticed on tracer  diag. screen 07? for abs rear. 19? for abs front. ran out of time, but wondered if anyone had tried to operate the abs pump at that point. if i get it t to work, i'll post, if i don't, it's cause  you guys give bad advice.

@oldgeezer-
I know what you are referring to, It doesn’t work that way on the FJ/MT series bike. No more on-board DIAG mode since 2016 my.

Yamaha diagnostic software is required. No workarounds.

As I expected, but I was secretly hoping that we finally found the ABS cheat code…
