tracer847
I’m regretting not getting the gt model when I bought my tracer back in 2019…..dumb dumb dumb. I have a 94 gl-500 and figured a bare bones bike would be right but I can’t get used to having no storage space. I have a tail bag and tank bag but that’s just not enough. So I bought 2 side cases but now I can’t find the brackets. Apparently they are on nation wide back order. They don’t look too terribly complicated to fabricate but would like to buy them if possible. Does anyone know where I might be able to get these? They are part number B1J-F84M0-V0-00 For those that have them, can you tell me the thicknesses? Thanks
johnmark101
Would like to have a set of these as well. They eliminate the rear passenger footpegs and provide a bit more foot room for the rider. I find my heel interfering with the rear passenger pegs when I am adjusting my body and feet for aggressive cornering on my 2019 Tracer GT. 1 There is nothing like spending a day riding with friends in the grip of a shared obsession. tracer847
Unobtainable best I can tell. I read about fitment issues with the Givi racks which is why I went OEM on the side cases not even thinking for a minute the racks are nowhere to be found. tracer847
Don’t think they are friends in this case. Yes I did see that and they are for the “city side cases” Called revzilla tech support to ask if they were compatible with the hard cases and was told they were not. draco_1967
Those look like the correct brackets. The "city" side cases are the narrower OEM Tracer cases, vs the wider FJR cases. The mounting method is the same for both cases. Only the lid is different between them. The kit in the ebay link looks exactly like the part on the yamaha parts diagram: https://www.yamahapart.com/oemparts/a/yam/5c2d38f287a8660ca49c0231/saddlebags

tracer847
I surely will. Still waiting on them. I did a saddle sore Sunday and the cases would have been handy.
