Tracer 9GT +

Recommended Posts

So I bought myself a tracer9GT +.

I want to install the original Yamaha LED fog light which I had taken off from my Tracer9GT.

I am unable to find the auxiliary power connections for the fog lights.

I have taken the left fairing and the right fairing off but cannot locate the auxiliary connector.

I have managed to connect the Denali T3 rear LED turn signal/brake light, successfully. But again, I am unable to find the appropriate wires for the front Denali T3 DRL/turn signal.

Anybody who has managed to do the same would they kindly be able to share their experience with me, please? Thank you.

Just go old school and throw in a relay from the battery and trigger off an Ignition on circuit

Piece of cake

+1

That's how my SW-Motech lights are installed.

Not sure which generation of the T9GT you previously had, but if it was recent ('21 and up) the aux power connections are under the left fairing side. This is not my YT video but you can see the 2 aux power connections available

I had a 2021 GT. and I had installed it as above. But the GT plus does not have similar connections on the left side. And nothing on the right as well

Good to know, appreciate the update! I guess with all the new added electronics on the newer models, sounds like wiring accessories requires a little more work and investigation.

I found the ports exactly where they were in my 9GT. Except that they were buried under a lot of electrical tape.

Good information update. This will help owners on the newer models its the same location. Be happy its under more electrical tape instead of another fairing or plastic.
