Premium Member duhg Posted November 25 Premium Member Share Posted November 25 Smoother throttle is a huge improvement. Full power is good. The smoothening involved reducing engine braking, which is a minor negative = more downshifting and brakes. https://ridemsta.com/oh-tmr/ Riding makes me happy. Riding this weekend it just feels like I'm one with bike going into a long sweeper, less of an on/off feeling as i downshift, brake, the bike settles, accelerating as I exit the corner, feel the smooth application of power as the thrill increases and the front wheel get's lighter and even lifts (if you have that AW minimized. It still cruises nice at low RPM also, I short shift when cruising thru a town at slow speed to reduce the jerky feeling from the engine because it's character is always "give me more". denveryzf
I sent the ECU from my '19 GT to Ivan. Throttle response is much smoother, idle is smoother, Fan comes on at 200 and goes off at 190, I can also set the cruise control to any speed in any gear. I did have a Yosh Y-Series exhaust, but have since gone back to stock, works perfectly fine with both systems. I may or may not have gained a little HP, but the smoother throttle, especially at lower speeds, is way better than stock.
