I got a pair of generic FJR 1300 footpegs off Ebay this week.  They were $9.99 and are a drop-in fit.  The only issue is that on the left factory footpeg, the mounting pin is a rivet and it's necessary to grind the head off with an angle grinder.  Otherwise they drop right in.

Yep, as dozens herein have done (and also noted) :-)

Now move on to adjustable pegs and highway pegs off the case guards...

The stock pegs had a bit of an upturn on the end and because of the way I ride, wore a hole in the bottom of my Alpinestars boot.  I bought the same pegs and problem solved.

Was concerned about the cheap price but they work quite well.

There is nothing like spending a day riding with friends in the grip of a shared obsession.

I bought my 22 used. It has rubber pegs. Does that mean I got fjr pegs?

Don't know; mine is a '19 and in '21 they made changes, possibly including the footpegs.

OK, I pulled up some pictures on the web and it looks like the current models have rubber footpegs.

Very good pegs. They used to be available at Yamabits (PN: 1RC-274M0-00-00), but no more. There is a place in the Netherlands that still has them... here. I ordered replacement rubbed inserts for mine at Patzilla (PN: 23P-27413-00-00) here, as one was showing signs of wear/cracking. The inserts are compatible with a range of Super Tenere models... so I think they will be available for some time.

Do not trust the chinesium metal pegs to stand on. They will break, when you least expect it. It won't be pretty.

That “place in the Netherlans” only sells used parts salvaged from crashed bikes. They will be checked of course, but anything but new.

Just you know what you buy.

So are you saying that their advertising is false for these particular parts?  i.e. they show the parts in original packaging and words that say that it's new?

The link goes to the “used parts” part of the website.

Parts look new and bagged, so that makes me wonder if it is filed in a wrong section. Might be surplus stock from a dealer.

But they are a savaged parts reseller. I had a bike that was crashed BER, they salvaged it and sold it are “drivable, needed some repairs”. Well, the engine would run, but you would only be able to push the bike. So I am very skeptical about their descriptions.

But they may have evolved, my experience is from 10 years ago and they do have a new name, but still same business. Old habits die hard.

EDIT. Part is mentioned as new, never used. So I think it is indeed a new part. Used parts are described a used.
