Galfer or Speigler

I am going to replace the brake lines on my Tracer 900GT. Speigler or Galfer? Galfer is $100 more for the kit but if it's worth it I'll buy those.

Hi @Mattf - I have the Galfer 5-line setup on my FJ, and they are really high quality.   Fit is perfect, even though the install process (of any brand lines) on these bikes is a bit tedious.

That said, I’ve heard great things about the Spiegler lines.  For that kind of price differential, it would be hard to justify the up-charge for the  Galfers.

I have the Galfer kit on the FJ... and if I were doing this again, I'd go Spiegler. Fitting harware was not as useful as it should have been IMO.

I suspect the $100 means they're fundamentally different in some way... other than quality. Both are reputable brands. 🤔

Spiegler no question and eliminate the extra line and just jump over the fender to the other caliper with the short hose

And if there's a steel line along the left frame instead of trying to undo it just cut it out a lot easier The instructions for the  Spiegler are in color and very good and they come with a clamp for rotating the banjos in the orientation you need

The ability to 'fine tune' the banjo angle on the Spiegler lines for a perfect fit is reason enough to chose them over the Galfer lines, the $100 savings is just a bonus.
