wc
Ok...maybe more like this. Great hard bags that went on super easy and I'm happy with the way they look on the bike!
Premium Member jimf Posted July 3, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted July 3, 2015 Ooh, those do look nice. Better than the Yamaha bags, IMO. 2015 FJ-09 (Mary Kate) 2007 Daytona 675 (Tabitha, ret.) 1998 Vulcan 800 (Ret.) 2001 SV650S (Veronica, Ret.) 2000 Intruder 800 (Ret.) Premium Member jimf Posted July 3, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted July 3, 2015 After carefully studying the engineering styles of Kazakhstan I think I have these installed these Shad hard cases correctly! : ) I think we come from the same school of motorcycle freight carriage: Notice the right bag sitting right on the muffler. It seems that a set of stands exceeded the recommended weight for the rack. Who knew? Thanks for the laugh. 2015 FJ-09 (Mary Kate) 2007 Daytona 675 (Tabitha, ret.) 1998 Vulcan 800 (Ret.) 2001 SV650S (Veronica, Ret.) 2000 Intruder 800 (Ret.) ctbandit
Any more pics? Would like to seer it from the front at the same angle. Looks good from this side though. Where'd you get the rack and the bags?
wc
No front pics at the moment but here's another one from the side. You can order them direct from Shad with the racks. Shipping seems to take a while though. http://www.shadonline.com/

toast
Can you measure the width with the bags mounted? These look really nice and are cheaper then the Yamaha version but I need to lane split.

Only used them once, but they are well built, fit good and solid and seem to be an all round good buy. They are wide though. Total width is slightly wider then the bars with the hand guards, so filter (lan split) with extreme caution.

Made the Tracer a wide-arse. Not good for commuting, rather use a top box on the commute. For touring hopefully you'll ride less congested routes. aceofhearts
I have these too with the the matching Shad top box and rack. Great bits of kit but yes the panniers are wide (I clipped a traffic cone my first time out with them) LED indicators are ready to go on (just waiting for the LED specific relay to arrive)
