fjay09
If you had the option to paint your FJ any color what would it be? My bike is the matt gray and I really wanted a red one but I got a deal on this one I couldn't pass up. I sort of like the gray but what happens when it gets scratches in it? If you run a buffer over a matt finish it will shine up some. I've been painting cars for over 10 years so I'm thinking about spraying mine the yamaha blue. They do look good in silver too like the ones overseas. Maybe a glossy charcoal gray would look nice. I would only paint the colored parts like would come on the red ones not the entire bike. Premium Member ULEWZ Posted July 7, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted July 7, 2015 Love the gold and black by the way. Here is a grey blue variant that looks good. fjay09
Is the grey and blue an option over seas? These bikes look so much better without the factory rear fender. I should have my integrated tail light and new plate bracket Thursday
Premium Member wessie Posted July 7, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted July 7, 2015 The Yellow/black MT07 looks nice. This signature is left blank as the poster writes enough pretentious bollocks as it is.
Premium Member jimf Posted July 7, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted July 7, 2015 Maybe it's just me, but I think the best color is "dirty", because that means it's being ridden and not just left around for people to ogle. The paint color underneath "dirty" hardly matters. :-) 2015 FJ-09 (Mary Kate) 2007 Daytona 675 (Tabitha, ret.) 1998 Vulcan 800 (Ret.) 2001 SV650S (Veronica, Ret.) 2000 Intruder 800 (Ret.) I'm picky if the bike gets dirty I wash it so it won't be that way for long
