We are creating an online store soon and offering member only pricing on Elka Suspension components for the FJ-09, FZ-09 and FZ-07, among other models later on.

I have found an FZ-07 for them to R&D and they are already developing FJ-09/FZ-09 rear shocks and piston kits.

If you haven't heard, Elka has been the leader in ATV, side by Side and Snow Mobile suspensions for over 15 years and their customer service after the sale is hard to match. There are incredible stories of their commitment to Customer Satisfaction on forums all over the world. They were my top choice of product once I learned of their plans for street bikes.

When you order an Elka Shock or Fork kit from us, Elka will hand assemble the parts according to your weight, riding style and of course, bike specifics.

It will take a little while to develop the shocks for the FJ-09, and for us to create the online store but rest assured, these shocks will be the very best quality that you can buy and I promise to all of you that the pricing will be fair. We are discussing different shock styles with pricing in mind.

Here is a few pictures of their work.

When the Shocks are close to being ready, we will post more info, pics, open the store and start taking preorders.

you're welcome everyone

8-)

heh - but they really do make great products.  Im sure Elka would have come on board as a vendor no matter what, they just needed a push from a former customer who used their products to the limit of their ability (and beyond in a few cases....)

A riding buddy with '05 GS 1200 BMW with 50k+m recently upgraded his suspension with Elka shocks frt and rear with low, high speed and remote preload adjustment for less than oe BMW non adjustment shocks. He says bike handles better than new (original owner). Shocks look trick with remote reservoirs with clickers, stainless steel hyd. lines. If I go with FJ09 I definitely be interested in their wares. I've got test ride of preproduction 2015 MTS S 1200 today with DVVT so time will tell how it will do compared with my 2010 MTS ST and FJ-09 which I test road last week. FYI Yamaha sent me an offer for free two year factory extended warranty if I buy a Yamaha product just for doing a test ride during one of their Demo days so watch for one in your area.
