dirtnut67
Has anyone tried other forks from say a R1 or any other bike that will have all the adjustable forks. That will fit the fj clamps?
GoldenPenguin
You would be better off getting a cartridge kit and making them adjustable. Otherwise you would lose the ABS and traction control and you would have to get an R1 wheel, brake lines, calipers, etc.
dirtnut67
Thanks. Kits are pricey
GoldenPenguin
It can be. GP Suspension/KFG Suspension are the only places I would go to get my suspension done. You can ship them in for service if your not in the NW either.
Premium Member fanowater Posted August 11, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted August 11, 2015 There are many shops in California. You could try new springs, oil and tweaked shim stacks if you have a tight budget. Catalyst Reaction in San Carlos is a good place to talk to. They did my forks and I'm very happy (but I did replace the internals). 650 591-2778 Cheers 2015 FJ-09 2006 Triumph Daytona
