I have always used the passenger grab bar to get the bike up onto the center stand. I also did not experience this problem. A firm press on the foot pedal of the center stand is enough to lift the bike. Never needed to raise it with hands

nicksta43
I arrived to work the wettest a human being has ever been without actually being under water. The bike didn't care. Edited April 24, 2019 by nicksta43 3

I’m a huge believer of aerodynamics and have always been cautious of adding anything to my bike that will have an aero effect at high speeds. In fact on my ‘15 I’ve been removing anything that I believe has caused unwanted aerodynamics at high speed. I have found the formula. if that nose provides actual downforce at speed, that is that is a huge win. 1 2015 FJ-09 - Andreani Cartridges, Ohlins 535 Rear Shock, LightTech Chain Adjusters, Yoshi Fender Eliminator, Blaster-X Integrated Tail Light/Blinkers, Full Yoshi Exhaust, Ivan's Flash, Bagster Seat, Rizoma: (Bar, Grips, Bar Ends, Mirrors, Oil Cap, Rear Pegs) Bremob Corsa Corta Master Cylinder, Bremob RCS19 Hadraulic Clutch, GPR Steering Damper, Speigler Hydraulic Lines, EBC Brake Pads, Puig Screen, HealTech Quick Shifter, MPG Rearset, XSR900 Slipper Clutch, Driven Racing Halo Gas Cap, SW-Motch Front / Rear Axel Sliders, R1 Rotors / 320mm Kit Conversion. Only had it up to 155 km/hr last night (in mexico of course😀) on the first test ride. Lots of heavy trucks and cool crosswinds. No issues. I should say I didn't use the supplied hardware and bushings. Just a thin washer and the factory fairing bolt. It's tight but once in there is no way the beak is coming iff. One down side is it blocks some of the light from my fog lights. Kind if a cool lighting effect though. The front fender and some of the front of the bike looks all lit up.
wordsmith
Quack!😁 Intuitively, you'd have to believe that the beak's fairly flat and reasonably large surface area and that angle of attack would definitely have a downward effect, but how much...??? Not sure how much. Like I said a little. Really I just like the looks and I'm more than satisfied with the beak not making things worse. That was all I could hope for and for $29 it was a cheap option that could just as easily sat on a shelf if it didn't work out.

FREE shipping, so what the heck. I love how it looks, like it completes the front of the bike. 2015 Stealth Grey FJ-09 Pilot Base of Operations: Chesterfield, VA Farkels? Premium Member sirepair Posted April 27, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted April 27, 2019 I finished the fix-up of deer damaged parts. Replaced the front fender (thanks builderbob!), even added some stripes to it. The right fairing was cracked where the turn signal mounts, and the "pin" that goes in to the grommet was snapped off. Super glue and baking soda was used to repair the cracks/breaks after a bit of dremel work to rough up the back side surfaces. If you haven't used this for ABS plastic repair, try it! Checked the front rim, not bent, but I did find some deer fur wedged in the tire bead! Checked alignment of front axle/forks/handlebars; all OK. I STILL can't believe how fortunate I was! I also finished re-keying my top box and saddlebags to match the ignition, so now need only 1 key instead of 3. It's very simple to do if you have an inventory of the "wafers". Takes just a few minutes. Hopefully I'll be able to get a ride in soon! 3

duhs10
I missed mine.... just got back from a vacation in the Tuscan region of Italy. I saw many Tracers which made me happy. I've had my FJ for 3.5 years and almost never see another one on the street in the US. I saw atleast 1 per day in Italy. Good to know Europe appreciates this great motorcycle.... I still have a lust for a Multistrada but at 2x the price when new it's hard to justify. Still love my FJ. 2 '15 FJ-09 w/ lots of extras...
