Rick123
I sold my 2017. It was a good run. Almost 44000 km (27000 miles) in exactly 1 year.

If they don't work, it's not a huge spend. Much unlike those lighttech adjusters, holy crap they're expensive. Thx, I ordered a pair from a US seller for $10 that will be here around the 22nd (not that ill be riding anytime soon :-() GL with the chain adjusters. I paid $9700 for it. I wish it had the Termignoni exhaust already on it, but to find an S model was my big thing. I can add the idiotically expensive exhaust later. It still sounds pretty good stock, just muted a bit. Sounds like a great bike and deal! Not to tarnish the shine but didn't Ducati completely revamp the Monster in 20 making it lighter with and aluminum frame and a host of other major changes? Though I do like the look of the "original" steel trellis frame configuration.

I know the engine, chassis, and electronics are the same with possibly minor tweaks. The price difference doesn't begin to make it worth buying a new one for 18k. Supporting Member Kenny A. Posted January 15, 2022 Supporting Member Share Posted January 15, 2022 Found mirror adjusters on Amazon. A lot cheaper than Evotech. 👍 2 2019 900 GT, 1969 Honda S90

Just because of the price and much lower mileage. It’s red so it supposed to be the fastest one… 4

It does look the same, it was the smaller Monster that they change the frame on. https://www.ducati.com/us/en/bikes/monster/monster-1200 https://www.ducati.com/us/en/bikes/monster/monster

It + a radiant electric heater + space heater still seems to take forever to warm up my single car garage (granted not THE most airtight, but carboard door sweeps have helped tremendously...). I think it's 15,000 BTU or something (the propane heater), which doesn't seem to be quite enough. I recently picked up one of these on sale; which should do the trick just fine: https://www.princessauto.com/en/35000-btu-portable-radiant-propane-heater/product/PA0008944985 Who needs oxygen - I need HEAT!! 1 2 2015 FJ-09 / FJR touring bags / oil plug mod / Evotech rad guard / SW Motech bash plate / VStream touring windshield / Seat Concepts: Sport Touring / Vcyclenut ABS rings (speedo correction) / Cosmo RAM mount
Supporting Member dazzler24 Posted January 22, 2022 Supporting Member Share Posted January 22, 2022 Moved my Nemo 2 oiler reservoir from where I had it mounted on the left side - generator cover (too much heat being sinked into it) to a P clamp around a frame strut up near the seat. Got the idea from someone in here who did it with their Scottoiler - thanks BTW. Doesn't get in the way of my leg and I can easily reach round into the crook of my knee to give it a tweak when I need a lube. Premium Member keithu Posted February 1, 2022 Premium Member Share Posted February 1, 2022 It's just about trade-in time, so I spent the weekend de-farkling. Undoing almost seven years of mods was quite a chore. Today I gave it a final wash. It's bittersweet, this has been a phenomenal bike and the #1 most reliable vehicle I've owned over the last 40 years. My only issue with the FJ-09 has been that the clock loses about 30 seconds per month.
