I just ordered a set too, How was the quality of your last set?
They were solid. Adjusters moved easily and installation was a snap. They worked really well.

Not quite sure of the purpose of these ? To stop cold pedals ?

So you don't scratch your boots? Never saw a need for those. I find the shifter scuffs to be a badge of honor.
Some guys don't want to mark up their new white kicks (tennis shoes)

There are also the flip-flop wearers, although that demographic tends toward pure sportbikes.
I see it all the time, but I cannot imagine what people are thinking when they wear flip-flops or sandles on a motorcycle.  What could possibly go wrong?

Saw a guy at work on his shiny new Kawi H2 (200 HP) wearing t-shirt, shorts , no gloves, sneakers. It was 18 C (64 F.) He looked cool!  ;)

anyone know of aftermarket heated grips?
I have the Yamaha ones on mine.
I used Daytona ones on my Super Tenere which were great. Oxford and the R&G ones are also good. All three are on Ebay.
This signature is left blank as the poster writes enough pretentious bollocks as it is.

Check out the Oxford Heated grips for $89 at Revzilla LINK

They install in under two hours, work really well and seem to last a long time. Killer deal for $89.00. Really warm too with different settings.

Having trouble cutting and pasting on my tablet but i got Bikemaster heated grips for 48$ on Amazon. They installed easy, just run power to them and heat before putting on. They are a bit short though, easy to fix on the left but the throtte tube sticks out. I need to paint or cover with black heatshrink tube or something. They get quite warm too.

Lever Set:
Intentionally bought the absolutely cheapest I could find. I have had CRG levers in the past and they were the best but these are close. The fit is great and best $23 spent so far on the bike.
