Premium Member Brick Posted November 3, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted November 3, 2015 Well redfjniner you should have started out by telling us how old you are. I don't count since I have not purchased my FJ09 yet! But I'm not ashamed I'm 69 and damned amazed I lived this long! Premium Member wessie Posted November 3, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted November 3, 2015 It's a bike for that mid-life crisis. Yamaha should do a Seroxat and hormone replacement accessory pack. This signature is left blank as the poster writes enough pretentious bollocks as it is.
toast
It's a bike for that mid-life crisis. Yamaha should do a Seroxat and hormone replacement accessory pack.If that's true then I'm in trouble , having my midlife crisis at 27. Then again I do feel like a grumpy old man at times. Premium Member steveb Posted November 4, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted November 4, 2015 65 years old (not even half that mentally). Just got my Medicare card (kinda snuck up on me, talk about a total mind-bender =8^O ) and so I ride all the more....
Premium Member fanowater Posted November 4, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted November 4, 2015 I am closing out 51 in a few months. Time is ripping by as fast as the scenery in 5th gear at 8k rpm. 2015 FJ-09 2006 Triumph Daytona
stvnfardid
I'll be 40 in 2 months. I just love the upright position gives me more comfort and confidence!
rocky5000100
24 I went through the sportbike crouched-over phase real fast. FJ09 is much more comfy for my ride to work than my R6s' ever were. Basically just as fast too. I still get my fix by doing track days and racing with CCS.

ericm
55. I bought my first motorcycle when I was 17. I've had at least one nearly all the time since then. So much for my parents trying to discourage me from riding!
snowflake
58. FJ-09 shares its garage space with my '05 FJR. FJ-09 is my ninth bike in 33 years of riding. Love it!
Premium Member jimf Posted November 5, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted November 5, 2015 48. I've been riding for 15 years and this is my 5th bike and 2nd triple. While I have really loved three of the bikes, the FJ is I think the best of the lot. It's less exciting than the Daytona 675 and the triple sound is much more muted but the motor is easier to ride and loses nothing at the top end and ho boy is it nimble and comfy to ride, the latter of which is mattering more and more with every passing year. I LOVE MY BIKE. 2015 FJ-09 (Mary Kate) 2007 Daytona 675 (Tabitha, ret.) 1998 Vulcan 800 (Ret.) 2001 SV650S (Veronica, Ret.) 2000 Intruder 800 (Ret.) skipperT
42. Riding bikes since I was 12, even though the first one was a hard tail mini bike powered by a 5hp snowblower Briggs. engine with a plywood seat and a centrifugal clutch. The most intense years with motorcycling have been the last 12. FJ 09 is my 5th Yamaha.
