Premium Member 1moreroad Posted January 14, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted January 14, 2016 The pix work. The rainbow coloring of the print matches your avatar. Do those turn signals have connectors and relays? Thanks.
crimson04
The turn signals, are they 2 or 3 wire? Also I though you need adapter plates for the front signals. Is that true?
skipperT
3 wires in the front, and 2 wires in the back. -skip
crimson04
I'm aware what they should be, I'm asking about the kit. they look like 2 wires to me
rambodog
Sorry for the delay. The kit has 2 wires on all signals, does not come with the relay and yes, you do need adapter plates for the front which the guy that sells the kit also has. I didn't use a relay on mine because I don't mind the quick flashing of the signals. I think these lights are much brighter than stock and the quick flashes draws more attention to me I feel. Also, the license plate light is super bright, added visibility is a plus!

bhawthorne
I ordered this and it looks great on the bike. The turn signals will not fit under the OEM side cases without curving the light out and then it still rubs on the inside of case. I took an aluminum plate drilled new holes and extended this bracket out about 4 or 5 inches. I don't have pictures on me, SORRY!
patrickjs5
I want to revive this thread since this fender eliminator/LED signal combo is very interesting. Hard to beat for $60; a comp werkes fender eliminator by itself is $100. Does anyone have pics of the eliminator or signals installed? Any long (or medium) term complaints about the no-name signals? The front signals are two wire instead of three - how should the install go? What relay would/should be used to slow the blink rate? (like rambodog, I've usually left my aftermarket signals with a fast blink rate, but don't want to do so this time) Thanks in advance for any info y'all can provide! I bought the relay from TST Industries It allows you to adjust the flash rate to your liking and works great. ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***

Premium Member 1moreroad Posted February 10, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted February 10, 2017 I've got the fender eliminator, and I have his signals on the front, too. I used the seller's adapter plates on the turn signals. The good - strong material, substantial piece. The front signals are 3 wire so they have DRLs. Cost can't be beat. You'll get your items quickly, and the seller is responsive to e-mails. The bad - the bolt hole pattern on the tail tidy is slightly off. I had to Dremel the underseat plastic out slightly. This is not a huge deal to me. I am very satisfied with the tail tidy. The lights are meh. They are brighter but only from certain viewing angles. Overall, I think the OE incandescent bulbs put out more light. From certain angles only, these are very bright.

I ordered some parts from the same Ebay seller for my fender eliminator (LED signals, adapter plates and wiring). Very quick to answer any questions and he offers quality parts. ***2015 Candy Red FJ-09***
