jaxn
Okay fellow FJers. I searched the forum and couldn't find an answer, so here goes. I used a cheap rear wheel stand to store my FJ and gouged the swingarm. I switched to swingarm spools, but would like to touch up the gouges. They're small but annoyingly noticeable. And there's a sharp edge to the gouges. Smoothing options? Steel wool? Sandpaper? Paint suggestions? TIA
Premium Member wessie Posted January 16, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted January 16, 2016 stop washing the swingarm - the scratches will disappear This signature is left blank as the poster writes enough pretentious bollocks as it is.
timo50
I had some scratches on my old TDM frame touched up at a motorcycle body shop, they airbrushed the scratch, you couldn't see it at all when it was done. Failing that, I think the colour is called Yamaha Power Black.
jaxn
Thanks for the info. I'll look into the touchup paint and see what I can do.
