dtownmtb
While doing my 600 mile service I noticed that the front turn signals come on when the bike is started - but not the rear. Is this normal? The turn signals work OK, so that's good. Thing is, on my 12 year old SV650S the turn signals do NOT come on at all when the bike is started. Is this some new safety thing? Should only the front turn signals come on?
Premium Member jeff400650 Posted February 1, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted February 1, 2016 Yes. That is how the bike is designed. "Running lights". Rear signals can't stay on because they are amber, and only red is legal for constant on in the rear. Pistons or pedals, 2 wheels are where it's at...
