endoz Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 Hey All, new FJ owner here, picked up a '15 grey model with hard bags recently, coming off three generations of Speed Triples and a Hypermotard S. Loving the bike, this forum has already provided all kinds of good information that I'll use to mod and farkle this new machine. This bike is strangely a lovechild of these two favorite platforms of mine, but with bags and windshield. Longer travel of a supermoto with 3cyl engine character I like Early observations; i've been spoiled on past bikes by perfect fueling and Ohlins, this bike needs some dialing in but for the price i can live with it. I've already spoken to my local race shop who will do a K tech shock and cartridge install for a very reasonable price and then an ECU reflash. Full exhaust prior to reflash. Michelin PR4's. But not too lonely down here in PHX with 4 million + close neighbors. Bike is in garage up north and will be moving to Kennewick, WA. later this spring. My farkling fingers are getting itchy... My C/control will soon be delivered but will have to wait until I get north along with the skid-plate engine protectors I will pick up in Las Vegas and the new V-stream shield that also gets installed. You should give him a call or email and have him flash the ECU for you. It will be a much better flash than what EDR can do, and probably cheaper.
