rocky5000100
Head to you local hardware store, and buy a "fluid transfer pump". It's will get the majority out. Trying to turn a tank upside down doesn't work. Ask me how I know. https://www.menards.com/main/tools-hardware/auto/maintenance-fluids/fluid-transfer-pump/tools-hardware/automotive-marine-hardware/automotive-marine-maintenance-fluids-additives-accessories/fluid-transfer-pump/p-1444421226555.htm;jsessionid=B00544E27015A5422819176C58FE397F.tndm-prodapp1-external-mcom I've got the one from harbor freight, much cheaper: http://www.harborfreight.com/multi-use-transfer-pump-66418.html

Premium Member estell Posted March 18, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted March 18, 2016 Take the long way to the hardware store while using up the remaining fuel in the tank. Drive home when you have just enough fuel to get back. Arrive at home with an empty tank and a smile. :-) 2015 red FJ-09: Cal Sci screen, Sargent seat, ECU flash, slider combo, cruise, Rizoma bars, Matts forks, JRi shock, slipper clutch
yamaham
Riding till the tank is almost empty is nice, but at what point do you know when you have enough to make it home?????
likebutta
Get one of those motorcycle cage of deaths in your backyard. Ride the sphere until the engine gives out. But a pump would do.

When the gauge starts blinking you've got at least 20 miles (I'm being pessimistic). In any event you'll have less than a gallon when it blinks which isn't very difficult to lift.
