oldguy44
Rcvd it; Installed it; Love it; Thanks Cruizin! Note: The blue wire from the module to the ECM is too short, add 8-10 inches.
oldguy44
Correction, the purple wire, not the blue.
Premium Member estell Posted March 25, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted March 25, 2016 Confirmed. I had to add some length to the purple wire. 2015 red FJ-09: Cal Sci screen, Sargent seat, ECU flash, slider combo, cruise, Rizoma bars, Matts forks, JRi shock, slipper clutch
Cruizin
Thats the opposite of what we ran into on our test model as we actually had to cut the purple wire because it was too long. If this is experienced by more people than I will certainly pass this info on to Brandon Distribution and advise them to lengthen the purple wire. Anyone else have this issue? Premium Member estell Posted March 25, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted March 25, 2016 The purple wire would have been long enough if I had routed it directly. However, I chose a meandering path in order to secure it from moving and vibrating. I routed it under relays and tied it to other devices, some of which were not in a direct path to the ECU. When done, I had to add about 8 inches of purple wire. Not a big deal. 2015 red FJ-09: Cal Sci screen, Sargent seat, ECU flash, slider combo, cruise, Rizoma bars, Matts forks, JRi shock, slipper clutch
