I've been researching and shopping for the engine on this bike since the FZ-09 first came out, but deemed the FZ wouldn't be comfy enough for me. Then they came out with the FJ-09. I pulled the trigger last week after a couple of years of drooling. I still have my FJR1300, but it's on a battery tender now. So far, I'm loving this bike! It's torquey, fun, stable at 100mph on the freeway (allegedly), agile in the twisties, and comfy. I've been riding since I was 10 years old, and that's a looooooooong time. It's been a while since I've been on a bike that covers so many factors that are key to me. I'm looking forward to riding The Smokies (Moonshiner 28, Tail of the Dragon, etc.) this fall.
