Age: 49 yrs Height: 6'2" Weight: 90 kg Place: Oslo, Norway Experience: Been riding 5 years. Past Ride: 2008 Yamaha FZ6 Current Ride: 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 Also experienced (but not owned): BMW R1200RT, Yamaha TDM 900, and Triumph Legend 900. I’m looking to replace my V-Strom 650. I am very satisfied with the Strom, but now I want a bike with quicker handling and a little more power, and the Fj-09 looks very interesting. It will be used for city Commuting, short stints, daytrips, weekend trips and 1 long trip a year. Occasional two up, but I ride solo most of the time. I’m going to check if it’s possible to get me a test ride this weekend. Excited! Question: Is there anyone on here that has gone from V-Strom 650 to FJ-09? How would you describe the transition?
