stringman
Hi all Having moved to a new house with no driveway yet I have had to store the bike away from home over the whole summer I am hoping to buy some ramps so I can get it down the side steps of the house. But I need to know some dimensions from you guys please. handle bar width EXCLUDING THE BAR ENDS Width of the engine with GIVI crash bars if possible height from ground to the crash bars. Many thanks in advance
captainscarlet
handle bar width EXCLUDING THE BAR ENDS 95cm, although that's with the hand guards fitted. Width of the engine with GIVI crash bars if possible 60cm although the indicators are wider than the crash bars at 66cm height from ground to the crash bars. About 48cm

stringman
Thanks Guys, that is brilliant. that gives me something to work with. To explain my reasoning further. The steps will need a series of ramps and blocks to navigate down as they are not fixed height and length. going down the house is on the right and to the left there is a small retaining wall that follows the steps. the width between the 2 walls is 950mm. My bike has Altera hand guard but not the standard bar weights so I estimate (based on above) about 800mm Very tight so I will have to ride closer to the little wall. Hopefully I ride above the little wall Sorry any one know the width of the engine at the lowest point and the distance from ground to that? many thanks
