pattonme
Federal (aka Allied) are a class act if expensive. uShip is probably the cheapest but more unreliable WRT scheduling and some of the guys are good, others are total hacks. motorcycleshippers.jcmotors.com did a fine job as long as open-deck transport is acceptable. Premium Member britelitebob Posted September 13, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted September 13, 2016 I've used Federal with good results and they give discounts to AMA members. BLB

If you get a bid from a mom n pop team, it's not a bad way to go, but the second time I tried this couldn't get decent bids or else big delays. Have used Federal three times now from east coast to here in San Diego, was about $650 with AMA discount. SoCal 2015 FJ-09 Red of course

johnha1962
I shipped a bike for a friend from PA to CA using Forward Air. Good experience and very wallet friendly at that time but from what I understand they are more expensive these days.
