Wow. This bike gets around. Thanks for sharing. Doing some research into Hannibal’s Bucket now. That this is slightly huge.

Went to join a ride group this morning, seems that it leaves next month, DUH.

Ended up just going for a nice 600k journey around the local countryside.

No fires by you?

It's terrible

It's bad enough for people but the wildlife, poor Koalas.  They cover the fires here, as bad or worse than in California

A lot of fires around us, a lot of my favorite roads are in repair due to the fires. Went for a ride around the Gold Coast Hinterland today and a lot of bush is burnt out. It will be summer soon too, not looking good for us as no rain is forecast. Even the dam levels are down to half, water restrictions will be here soon too.

Like California and other western states

Here we're entering winter, got 5 inches already, we test year on record breaking last year's record.  Actually killed a lot off vegetation and ruined the corn crop.  Wish we could send some rain down to you...

What r u running for front blinkers? Can’t remember what OEM Yamaha you mentioned they came from. I’ll be upgrading to those as I’ve finally had enough of the orange pumpkins.

@coachluciano - Those are Yamaha factory LED signals from the Super Tenere.   I have them both front and rear on my bike.     It’s not exactly plug & play, as the connectors are different between the two models, but it’s still an easy and attractive upgrade.

All the details you need are in this thread:

@texscottyd

That is not my XR1200. I wish. 😕

It was owned and built by an acquaintance  of mine. Who has sold it.  I recognized the bike right away, it's truly one of a kind. But didn't recognize the rider.

It has a Hammer performance 1250 kit custom heads been dyno tuned by Blais (a local speed shop) a blackhorn intake/filter it has Olin's all around the steering damper is a new addition so I don't know about it. 320mm rotors a hand built one of a kind titanium exhaust carbon fiber wheels (marcheesie IIRC) That's all that I remember.

These are pictures of my XR. It now belongs to my eldest son who lives in Murfreesboro TN. It cost him $1.00. 🙂

@fddriver2 - Very cool that your son is now riding your XR.  Neither of my boys showed much interest in motorcycles.... to my wife’s relief, but to my mild disappointment.

Yeah, I had noticed the suspension, brakes, wheels, intake, exhaust, et cetera on that XR...  very, very trick.

EDIT:  My youngest son sent this to me.  At least he has my sense of humor...
