I don't remember every seeing a covered bridge here in Scotland. They may exist, perhaps I'll make that a wee mission one weekend, seek out a covered bridge :)

One google search later...I didn't find any covered bridges, might be a USA thing, but you have some awesome old stone bridges.

Hey, I'm a rail fan also.

Here's a pic I took last week at the Hobo Railroad in Lincoln NH. It is the Flying Yankee awaiting restoration.

We were on a 300-mile fall foliage ride on a blue bird day and I just couldn't resist stopping to stage this shot.  I call it:   "Fast and Faster"

Another view...

Great shine on the headers, are they stock? What do you clean them with?

Wet roads, 50mph winds, leaves everywhere. Had a brilliant ride though today, and found an awesome wee road, which unfortunately was so bad with wet leaves that, since it was getting dark, I decided on discretion, and will be exploring it tomorrow.

Just was one of those days where you can smell the freshness in the air, and a sense of just wanting to glide along.

Still, you can't know some time on the floor with the cars. I was a fiend for matchbox back in the day, then hot wheels came along and blew them away :)

Short 100kms ride today to test out my new Smart Turn System (self-cancelling indicators).

I stopped at a lovely little spot called Kiamba just North of Nambour on the Sunshine Coast AU.  Weather warm, very quiet and no-one around.

Time to enjoy the the serenity. 🙂

Fall foliage here in New England has been great this year in spite of our drought.

And there's nothing like a having a good (fast) pal to share a ride with, even if he is a BMW guy!

Another grand day out around Dumfries and Galloway. The photo's may say otherwise, but it was raining almost the entire time, and I was loving it.

Started with a traditional Scottish snack, then headed to the coast , where the sun came out and made everything look great....

Have you seen the Moffat spitfire yet Stew.?

I had actually intended to head over there yesterday, but got distracted and ended up somewhere else. If it isn't too vile weather tomorrow I might head over that way.
I have only seen 1 spitfire this year, and that was early march, literally days before the lockdown, when I was up at Kelvingrove Museum, where there is 1 hanging from the roof. They are such a beautiful shape.
