I'm sure you have lots of more creepy reptiles and insects down there. Here, not so much. Rain in moderation is much better than fire. We're in a bit of a drought here, and the temps have fallen below normal but the roses are still rocketing. Got out again today as a mate wanted to go for a spin. He's HD fan. Only 140kms or so today. That little guy is a 'Bearded Dragon'. They can grow to around 1/2 metre but are fairly harmless. They're curious to watch when around their kind as the males bob their heads in aggression towards one another but will 'wave' a hand if in submission. They've got it sorted. Here's another shot of him. Yes, I've been watching with a bit of sadness when seeing all of the fires you guys are getting and the dropping levels of some of your dams. It sounds like what was the norm for our country but now in reverse. We have had more rain than we can handle over the last few months with more predicted. I wish my garden looked like yours. You had your devastating fires and now deluged. Luckily we don't have the firestorm by me, just tornadoes occasionally. Didn't get out because I took my Cymbalta (for nerve damage) too late and was "hungover" ITM. SWMBO is a landscape designer, I'm just the hied help. Beautiful day, was going to ride but SWMBO had me doing gardening... Tomorrow will also be nice if a bit cooler. Time for the heated jacket liner but too soon for the toe warmer packs. Around me things are just starting to change with the leaves and foliage I can't figure out the corn crop I don't think it was a good season And never got as tall as I remember but maybe that's been for a few years I'm sure the cows will eat it did though And add Then add to our greenhouse gasses The chicken factories really stink too!!! So would "your" mountain be Edelweisspitze 1, 2 or 3? I have / had 5 riding buddies named Tom. So I numbered them T1, T2, etc They actually got on board with it and when we rode together referred and addressed each other by their appropriate nomenclature!
