leedavis Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Been there many times but never with ice sickles...looks nice! I live 20 miles from the BRP down the mountain below Blowing Rock. Much of it in this area over 4000 ft is closed for the winter and the other highland roads tend to be covered in salt and grit. We mostly ride the foothills for the duration. I lived in Chapel Hill which is where I ran the Mabry Mill section from a lot. Moved to the foothils and haven't met "everyone" here yet but working on it!
