2wheelies
Just curious to ask anyone with a National Cycle windscreen, any of the 3 sizes (sport, sport touring or touring): How much space is left between the windscreen and the instrument cluster? Does it change the available space from the stock windscreen? Is there space to mount an average size phone or a GPS? Otherwise, I'm going to have to mount the GPS on the handlebar risers, and that is not ideal because I'd have to look too far down and take my eyes off the road. Thanks!! Cosmo sells an accessory with a RAM ball OR a bar to mount multiple RAM attachments, for GPS and other gizmos, which mounts between the windscreen mount and the cluster. See: http://www.cosmo-accessories.com/online-store/yamaha/tracer/tracer-gps-holder-94-info.html and http://www.cosmo-accessories.com/online-store/yamaha/tracer-900/tracer-gps-holder-info.html Thanks! All the photos look like a phone would only fit sideways (landscape). Do you know know if a normal sized phone would fit vertically? (It looks like there isn't much space between the windscreen and the instrument cluster to put a vertical phone) Thanks
vinnie
The tall windshield broke my stock Yamaha windshield steel bracket. I cab't say I recommend the product, at this time. Esperance
The RAM mount should allow the phone to be vertical but you can always add spacers between the screen and the mounting point. My GPS is bigger than most phones and it fits fine.
