That picture was taken on 23 October on a footbridge off MacArthur Blvd. in Bethesda, MD, opposite the Carderock Naval Facility. Actually, silver is faster, according to the story of why early German race cars were always silver. They sanded off all the paint on their cars to be a few pounds/kilos lighter, and thus go faster!
